Laura Pollak supervises the Nassau BOCES Data Privacy and Security Service (DPSS) and is a member of the statewide RICone Data Privacy and Security Service, providing K-12 districts with data privacy and cybersecurity resources to help secure district data. Laura also supervises the Nassau Association of School Technologists (NASTECH), a collegial group of technology leaders that meets monthly to collaborate and share educational technology best practices. She is also a member of the RICone Cyber Security Task Force, the COSN Privacy Initiative Educator Working Group, and the School Library Service Advisory Council.
