AJ Phillips is the Director of Information and Instructional Technology for Prince William County Public Schools in Manassas, Virginia. Ms. Phillips has occupied this position for seven years. She is an experienced educator with a total of 26 years in education, with 6 of those years focused on instructional technology.

Ms. Phillips received her B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Oswego majoring in Elementary Education. She completed her M.E. from George Mason University in 1999, and her M.S in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton in 2008. In 2015 she was recognized by the Center for Digital Education as one of the top 30 Technologists, Transformers, and Trailblazers. Fall 2016 Toggle magazine acknowledged Ms. Phillips for building schools of the future with student achievement as the foundation. In 2019, EdTech Focus on K-12 highlighted how Ms. Phillips “created a better business case” to increase bandwidth.
