Denton ISD is one of the fastest growing districts in Texas. With enrollment growth, new schools, more newer devices and greater technology integration, the district faced a great need to upgrade their wireless solution to take advantage of Wi-Fi 6E and AI-Driven Operations. A 2020 wireless upgrade plan faced challenges from supply-chain delays, threatening critical timelines as new schools opened and existing refreshes were delayed, and opened the door for the district to evaluate the latest leading-edge technology. The evaluation resulted in a new direction from a vendor standpoint as Mist Wireless was chosen to provide critical wireless connectivity for student learning leading into the next decade.
