My passion is connecting people through content and events – and building businesses that support that work. I started my career as a writer, sharing stories about innovators in the fields of education and the arts, and then began producing events to connect the people behind these stories to help them expand their personal and professional networks.

As I developed my career, I mastered the skills needed to grow a business: strategic planning, business development, personnel management, event management, sales, fundraising, marketing, and more. I currently run the education division of one of the world’s largest publishing companies, which has allowed me to connect thousands of professionals and champion their good work. I lead an amazing cross-functional team who shares my passion for storytelling and community building.
