As the Director of Information Systems at MSD of Mt. Vernon, I oversee instructional technology, data security, change management, digital marketing, and eLearning for five schools in Indiana. With over 33 years of K12 IT management experience, I have led numerous projects enhancing student learning and access. I'm fascinated by the role of human error in most cyberattacks and how different actions could prevent these incidents. A Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL), I am a recognized presenter and Security Awareness Advocate, honored with awards like the 2024 Excellence in Equity Award and the 2023 Indiana HECC Technology Coordinator of the Year. My passion lies in empowering educators and advancing learning and cybersecurity in schools.
