Don Ringelestein CETL CISM CISSP CAPM ITILv4, CTO Maine Township High School District 207

Don Ringelestein is the Cheif Technology Officer at Maine Township High School District 207, and prior to that he was the Director of Technology at West Aurora School District 129, and at Community Unit School District 308. Focussing on cybersecurity from when he started at District 129 in 2011, he has been working to secure infrastructure and data for 12 years.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Educational Technology Leaders association, Illinois' chapter, since it was founded. He currently has the honor of serving on CoSN's Board of Directors. He gained the CISM and CISSP certificaitions in 2022, and the CETL certifcation in 2016.

Don has worked with the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SEDTA) as the CoSN representive in a collborative funded by the Gates foundation, and spoken about cybersecurity at conferences, and has been cited in publications including Dan Heath's book Upstream.
