Mike is an Education Leadership Executive at Jamf, leading strategic learning and development initiatives worldwide. He is an award-winning teacher, administrator and educational leader and served as the CEO of CUE from 2005-2017, expanding the nonprofit’s impact, and also directed the California Student Media Festival (mediafestival.org) for a decade. He has served as an ISTE board officer and on the UNESCO Expert Group on Mobile Learning, the board of National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training (NCTET) and as an Expert Advisor for the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF). In 2011, he was honored as one of the "20 to Watch in Educational Technology'' and in 2013, was awarded the ISTE Making IT Happen award. He co-founded the Google Certified Teacher and Leading Edge Certification programs, is an Apple Distinguished Educator, and assisted in the development of the ISTE Certification program and Discovery Educator Network (DEN). He was Senior Director of Educator Engagement at PowerSchool for three years, overseeing customer advocacy for 45 million students in 80+ countries.
