Cisco

Tim Lake is the Senior Director in Cisco’s Public Sector organization with responsibility for the $2 billion-dollar Western State, Local, & Education (SLED) business. He leads a team of Cisconians focused on business and technical excellence who share a common commitment to solving challenges for Cisco’s government and education customers.

A 15-year Cisco veteran, Lake is passionate about strategic private and public partnerships leveraging technology to enable educational transformation and deliver a new generation of citizen services. Prior to his current role, Lake led multiple teams at Cisco gaining a reputation for innovation. From the smallest rural schools to the fifth largest economy in the world, he is known for caring about customer outcomes and empowering local teams to serve those who serve the best way they can.

Before joining Cisco, Lake started and sold a company building web platforms and internal applications for credit unions and financial institutions. He lives in Austin, TX and is a proud alumnus of The University of Arizona.
