Javier Jiménez currently serves as a Director of School Learning for the South Bend Community School Corporation in South Bend, Indiana. Javier's main role is to support a cohort of seven building principals. In this position, his goal is to increase the instructional leadership capacity of each building's administrative team. Javier graduated from Bethel University with his bachelor's, master's, and administrative coursework. Prior to South Bend, Javier served as principal at Concord Ox Bow Elementary school in Elkhart, Indiana. Javier is an Ed.D candidate at the American College of Education. Javier is passionate about disrupting and eliminating practices that promote injustice and inequities in schools. Javier has been married to his wonderful wife, Britny, for 14 years. Together they are parents to Melissa and Andrew. Outside of education, Javier enjoys traveling to Caribbean destinations and playing golf.
