Diamond Robinson, MS (she/her/hers)

Diamond Robinson is an Executive Director of School Learning for South Bend Community Schools. She is a highly experienced, dedicated educator who has worked her way through the ranks of the field of education, with making a difference in the lives of children as the cornerstone of her work. Throughout her educational career, she has served as a Special Education Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, and Director of School Learning. She has remained a fearless advocate for young learners in need, exhibiting a tireless commitment to ensuring quality education for all students.
As the previous principal of urban, high-poverty schools, she has made it her duty to establish common goals and empower educators to exceed them. Her passion for building a shared culture, increasing community accessibility, and providing equitable experiences for students and families remain a priority in her work. She has worked diligently to skillfully unite large teaching teams by shepherding an intensive process to generate the district’s mission, values, and goals. Throughout this process, she has deepened rapport with district and building-level administrators, teachers and community members as they work collaboratively to establish best practices for data-driven interventions for high quality instruction. She has mentored and overseen individuals in the principal pipeline while also assisting in advocating for staff members to understand the concerns of students and families, making a more welcoming school and district for students of all developmental levels.
Mrs. Robinson’s most important accomplishment is being the wife of Kenard Robinson and mother to her precious children, Isaiah and Kennedy. She is currently an Indiana Principal Leadership Institute mentor and a member of the Learning Forward Academy class of 2024. She is a 2021 graduate of AASA-The School Superintendents Association. She is also a member of the illustrious sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
