Preeti N. Burns

Preeti Burns has 30 years of experience in IT Service Management (20 years in K-12 education). Currently, Preeti serves the 200,000 scholars and 30,000 employees in Houston Independent School District, the eighth largest school system in the United States.
She is a leader in implementing projects and districtwide initiatives. As a certified, Organizational Change Management leader, she has guided executive steering committees in multiple ERP and SIS implementations. Her IT Service Management work in setting up Service Desks, Technology trainings teams, Application Support, Security Provisioning, and Print & Copy Services has led to some Team Awards and Recognitions across the IT Industry. She is also the President and Founding Member (since 1998) of the HDI Local Chapter in Houston.
