Allison Reid, an accomplished educator and CETL certified technology leader, holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Instructional Technology from NC State University. As Senior Director for the Digital Learning & Libraries team within WCPSS, she drives the adoption of cutting-edge digital tools, empowering learners and educators. Allison's remarkable track record includes accolades like the 2014-15 Teacher of the Year and the prestigious 2019 CoSN NextGen Emerging EdTech Leader award. In 2022, she was honored with the Ed Tech All Star Award sponsored by CoSN and RTM. Blending her experiences as a teacher and technologist, Allison has a rare insight into administrative policy's impact on student outcomes. Her strategic leadership ensures technology fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, inspiring positive change in education. Additionally, she actively contributes to global digital equity efforts through her involvement with the CoSN Digital Equity Toolkit.
