Andy Arnold, CETL

Andy Arnold is a 28-year educator and IT leader with a demonstrated history of working in the EdTech industry. After spending nine years in the CTE and Computer Science classroom, he took over as CTO in Bristol, TN. During his sixteen years as CTO in Bristol, he guided the district though multiple network and infrastructure upgrades and expansions, helped lead the implementation of their 1:1 program, and was integral in the planning and design of multiple new schools and buildings. After spending the 2020-21 school year as principal of Bristol Tennessee Middle School, he assumed the CTO role with Kingsport City Schools.

He also served as chairman of the board of directors for the state’s COSN & ISTE affiliate, Tennessee Educational Technology Association. During his tenure as chairman, he lead the effort for the organization to host the Tennessee Educational Technology Conference, now in its eighth year.
