Chris Diggs, Ed.D.

Dr. Chris Diggs is the Chief Technology Officer for Albemarle County Public Schools in Charlottesville, VA. Serving approximately 14,000 students, the school district includes both rural, urban and suburban residents. Chris is also the current PowerSchool National User Group president. She serves on the Dell Technologies K-12 National Advisory Panel, the PowerSchool Champions program, the Virginia Department of Education K-12 Technology Advisory Panel, and the PowerSchool Council on Education Innovation. Her work at the local, regional, state and national level provides her with a broad perspective on education trends. Chris has over 25 years of experience in education and technology and during her career Chris has been honored as both Teacher of the Year and Administrator of the Year. She played a key role in facilitating the technology department's cultural awareness work over the past 2 years.
