Allen Miedema

Executive Director for Technology
Northshore School District

Allen Miedema currently serves as the Executive Director for Technology for the Northshore School District in Bothell, WA. In this role, Allen oversees a team of 66 providing technology services for a district of 23,000 students and 3000 staff.

Beyond overseeing all instructional and operational technology systems and services in Northshore, Allen also is involved regionally and nationally on issues related to K12 student data privacy issues, data governance, cybersecurity, and other issues. He is an advocate for school districts collaborating to share successes and learn from errors, to increase their overall efficiency and effectiveness, to amplify their concerns with decision-makers, and to improve K12 experiences for students.
