Michael Arensdorff, MA (he/him/his)

Michael Arensdorff has worked in Oak Park School District 97 since 2007. He has been the Senior Director of Technology for the last 9 years. He manages a cutting edge technology team that has implemented a 1:1 program for K-8th graders in 2013-14 of over 4000 devices (refresh in 2017-18 and 2021), new VOIP system, transformative copier solution, assisted in the move of an administrative/data center office and recently completed a joint fiber build project with the Village of Oak Park. Michael’s work has included the voices of students, staff and families in a variety of capacities, with the Technology Advisory Committee being the spotlight of this work. He has also written and been part of a number of sessions on data analytics around student success, as well as presented on cybersecurity topics at the state and national level. Michael is a Board member for the Illinois EdTech Leaders Organization. Michael is a Board member for the Illinois Educational Technology Leaders (IETL) Organization.
