Lisa Watkins, Ed.S.

Currently Executive Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation at Gwinnett County Public Schools, Lisa has been an educator and advocate for education innovation and transformation for over two decades. Prior to her position, she served as Director of School Technology, Lead Program Facilitator of Instructional Technology, a Local School Technology Coordinator, a Lead Instructor of Gwinnett's Online Campus, and a language arts teacher within the district. She was also one of the founding administrators for Georgia Virtual School and served as Director of School Programs for FuelEducation and Director, Dean of Faculty, for KC Distance Learning. Lisa has presented at regional and national conferences and has served and chaired several committees, including one that developed online teaching standards that lead to the adoption of an online teacher endorsement certificate by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
