Jamal Boyce, CCTO

Jamal Boyce has been Colton Joint Unified School District's Chief Technology Director since February 2022. Prior to his current position, Jamal worked at Lynwood Unified school district initially serving as a Senior Network Engineer in 2016 and eventually working his way up to the Director of Technology in 2019. Jamal has a passion for people whether they be students, parents, or staff. He believes all people should be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy as he emphasizes Servant Leadership. He believes that to address the issues our stakeholders are dealing with, one must empathize with them to see their situation from their perspective. Many challenges have been revealed as a result of the pandemic and it will take a collaborative effort to resolve those challenges. Jamal is using his position at the table to ensure that the voices of the unheard our heard amongst those who have the power and influence to make impactful change in the community of the least heard.
