Technology Hardware and Software Approval Process

We will walk through our journey to develop a district wide technology hardware and software approval process. The process has been through multiple revisions as we have worked and learned how to address the wants and needs of staff about technology systems. The approval process is a collaborative effort among staff, building leadership, curriculum leadership and the technology department. The goal of our approval process is to provide staff with support to accomplish their work through technology while maintaining district standards and ensure alignment with the district’s core standards. A central piece of the approval process is data privacy and protection, including educating staff on best practices.
