Do you ever feel like you are drowning in a sea of data and wish someone would throw you a life saver? In this session, we will discuss what data strategies are, what the research says about them, and why you need one. Concepts to be covered include recommended data protocols for education, data policies for interoperability between systems, security and privacy, and being purposeful in implementing data collection. In addition, with so many data systems and analytics programs available, vendors might be driving your data strategy more than you think. We will also cover general data system limitations, how to align data in a valid way, and how to construct data results for decision-making.
